Vodu AI is an iPhone app that turns text prompts and photos into short videos, and voduai.com is the site its makers write. Everything published here is written by the people who build the app, tested inside the app before it is published, and updated when the product or the facts change. This page explains who we are, how the content is made, and how to reach us.

Who writes this site

Pages are written and reviewed under the byline Avery Taker — the pen name that the small team behind Vodu – AI Movie Maker (App Store id 6478151167, published by Applax Pte. Ltd.) and the wider Sorac AI studio publishes with. The avatar is an illustration, not a photograph. The experience behind the byline is the team’s own: we build the app, create AI images and videos with it every day, and every workflow described here is tested in the shipping product before it is written up. No borrowed credentials, no bios we cannot stand behind.

How we produce this content

Our experience is first-hand product experience, and we try to keep the claims boring and checkable:

• Product-tested. Every workflow we describe — text-to-video, image-to-video, photo editing, clip extension — is one we have run ourselves in the shipping app on a real iPhone.
• Sourced numbers. Ratings, version numbers and prices come from the live App Store listing and are dated in the text (for example: 4.5 stars from 24 ratings, as of July 2026). Third-party statistics are attributed to the organisation that published them. We do not invent figures or round them in our favour.
• Reviewed quarterly. Money pages and guides get a scheduled review at least every quarter, plus an immediate update whenever the app ships a change that makes a page wrong. The “last updated” date at the top of each page is the real date of the last review, not a rolling timestamp.
• Honest about limits. Where a desktop suite or another tool is the better answer, we say so on the page rather than pretending one app wins everything.

How we handle writing about our own app

This is a marketing site, and we do not hide it: Vodu is our product and we recommend it. What we will not do is misrepresent competitors, fabricate reviews, or claim capabilities the app does not have. Comparison and ranking pages state plainly which jobs other tools do better. If you find a claim on this site that is wrong or out of date, that is a bug and we want to fix it.
