• Sharp beats pretty. A plain, in-focus photo animates better than a moody one with heavy grain or bokeh.
• Even light. Harsh shadows across a face confuse the model and produce the melted look people complain about.
• Nothing over the faces. Sunglasses, masks, hands and hair across the mouth all remove the detail the AI needs.
